With many children in underprivileged rural and farm schools having to share old and tatty books which will be available to very few while their counterparts in affluent and urban schools have advanced to computer gadgets and modern literature.

Reigning Miss Zimbabwe UK Jacqueline T. Moyo is on a mission to appeal to UK institutions to donate all forms of readable textbooks and literature material to alleviate the plight. Working with The Big Yellow and Access Storage facilities, Miss Zimbabwe UK has drop off facilities across the United Kingdom where the books can be dropped and secured while sorting and dispatch is arranged.

“This is not a simple straight forward or cost free project but I must reiterate how important it is as this gives a chance to a rural child who may wake up tomorrow with a chance to literate opportunities to life. I appeal to the greater community to come forward and stand shoulder to shoulder with us to see this through”, Jacqueline T. Moyo.
